Stuck viewing as another rep

How to reset the view-as cookie and get back to your own account.

You clicked "View as customer" or "View as rep" and now Jeanus seems to think you are that person. Here is how to escape.

The banner is the fastest exit

When you are viewing as someone else, an orange banner sits across the top of every page saying "REP MODE: Viewing as [name]". Click the "Exit" link on the right of the banner to drop the cookie and go back to your own view.

If the banner is missing

If you have somehow lost the banner - browser extension hiding it, or an old cookie from a previous session - go to /api/rep/view-as/clear in your address bar. That endpoint clears the cookie unconditionally and redirects you home.

If that does not work

Clear cookies for the Jeanus domain in your browser (Settings > Privacy > Cookies > jeanus.app) and sign in again. This nukes any stuck view-as state and puts you back into a fresh session.

Portal side

On the portal, the equivalent is /api/portal/view-as/clear. Same idea - clear the cookie, land back at the portal home.

Owner-only.Only workspace owners and admins can use view-as. Reps do not have the button so they cannot get stuck in this state in the first place.
