Turning modules on and off
The workspace picker, module toggles, and what each does.
Updated 2 July 2026
Modules are the big feature groups you can turn on and off - Wholesale products, Client projects, Recruitment candidates, and so on. They start with a sensible default based on your chosen vertical, but you can override any of them individually.
Where to toggle
Settings > Workspace > Modules. Only admins can flip modules. Turning a module off hides its pages from the sidebar and disables its API routes. Data is retained - turn the module back on and everything reappears.
The modules
- Products. The wholesale catalogue with case and pallet pricing. Turn off for agency and services tenants.
- Offers. Time-limited sales deals for a mix of customers. Wholesale-flavoured but usable in other verticals.
- Buying. The buyer workflow for negotiating purchasing deals with suppliers. Wholesale only.
- Projects. Kanban and milestone project boards. Agency, services and portal-only.
- Candidates. The recruitment table alongside customers. Recruitment only.
- Portal. Customer-facing portal at /trade. On by default; turn off if you use another portal or none.
- Intelligence. AI briefings and suggestions. On by default; turn off if you would rather work without AI nudges.
Turning modules off cleans up the sidebar.Reps get overwhelmed by sidebar items they never use. If nobody in the team uses Buying, turn it off - the sidebar becomes shorter and the dashboard shows only relevant panels.
What is not a module
The core CRM shape - Customers, Leads, Pipeline, Tasks - is not a module. It is always on. That is the spine of Jeanus and cannot be turned off.
