Building a quote
Recipients, line items, terms, currency, tax, and the preview modal.
The quote editor is where you build every quote, proposal or invoice you send. It is the same editor regardless of document type - the difference is just the label on the top and what happens when the recipient accepts.
Header block
Pick the customer, then pick which contacts on that customer will receive it. Contacts here are the people, not the shared customer inbox. You can send to multiple contacts at once - each gets their own tracking link.
Line items
Add lines from the catalogue (wholesale and agency verticals) or type them in freehand (services). Each line has a description, quantity, unit price and tax rate. The line total updates live.
Wholesale users can pick the case or pallet price directly and Jeanus calculates the margin against the cost floor. If the line falls below the 8% margin floor, the sign-off request button appears - see Sign-off authority.
Terms and payment
The terms block sits between the line items and the total. Standard payment terms live in Settings and load in automatically; you can override per quote. Currency, tax rate, and delivery notes also live here.
Preview before send
The preview modal shows exactly what the recipient will see - not a rough draft. Send comes from the preview, so you get one last chance to check the wording before it goes.
