Quote templates
Save the boilerplate once, load it every time.
A quote template is a saved starting point. You save it once with your standard line items, terms and cover wording, then load it into any new quote to skip the boilerplate.
Creating a template
Build a quote as you normally would, then click Save as template in the top-right overflow menu. Give it a name that will make sense to your team - "Discovery workshop", "Full onboarding package", "Q4 promotional case deal".
Loading a template
When starting a new quote, click Load template before you fill anything in. Pick from the list and Jeanus fills in the line items, terms, currency and tax rate. The customer and recipients you still choose for that quote specifically.
Editing a template
Settings > Quote templates lists every saved template. Click through to edit the lines and terms directly. Changes only apply to new quotes; already-sent quotes are untouched.
When to use a template vs a copy
Templates are for the shape of the quote - what you sell, in what order, at what price. If you just want to clone an actual customer's quote to send to a similar customer, use the Duplicate button on the quote detail page instead.
