Your first day in Jeanus

10-minute walkthrough from signup to your first customer.

Welcome to Jeanus. This is the fastest route from a blank workspace to sending your first quote or offer. Plan on ten minutes for the whole loop.

Before you start

You should already have logged in at least once and clicked through the onboarding wizard, which puts your company name, chosen vertical and rep code in place. If you skipped it, no problem - you can revisit it any time from the top-right menu.

Not sure which vertical is right for you?Read Which vertical fits you first. You can change your mind later, but starting with the right shape means less to reconfigure.

Step by step

  1. Set your brand identity. Go to Settings then Brand identity. Upload a logo, pick your brand colour, and confirm your support email and phone. These show up on your booking page, quotes, invoices and the portal login screen.
  2. Add your first customer. Head to Customers and click the New customer button. Only the name is required. Everything else can be filled in later.
  3. Add a contact for that customer. Open the customer, scroll to the Contacts panel, and add the person you speak with. This is who your quotes and offers will go to - not the shared inbox on the customer record.
  4. Add a product or service. Under Products, add one thing you sell. Wholesale tenants stock items; agencies and services list packages or deliverables.
  5. Send your first quote. From the customer detail page, click New quote. Add a line item, check the total, and press Send. Jeanus sends the email through Outlook if you have connected it, or through the built-in mailer otherwise.
